Handwoven Linen and Cotton Top

This top is handwoven using a 55/45 blend of French tow linen and U.S. grown cotton spun in Pennsylvania. The slightly higher percentage of linen paired with a 2-2 twill weave structure gives it beautiful drape, while the cotton contributes to the incredibly soft feel of the material. The top is designed to hit at approximately the hip, and the sleeves are a bracelet length to provide a bit of drama that doesn't get in the way.

To order, I will need the following measurements. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this process.

Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust
Sleeve length - To achieve this measurement, take a measuring tape and place it at the center of the back of your neck. Measure from this point, across the top of your shoulder, and down the outside of your arm until you reach the desired length.
Torso length - Rather than measuring down your centerline, take this measurement slightly off to the side from your collarbone down to incorporate your bust.

To provide a point of reference, I am just over 5' 8" tall and wearing the sample garment in the photographs. The dimensions of that top are as follows:

Length: 20.5"
Torso width: 21"
Width, sleeve to sleeve: 55"
Neck opening: 12"
Sleeve opening: 10"

The fabric is handwoven and hand sewn in a modular fashion. A seam at the back of the torso encloses the cut ends of the fabric.

I would recommend hand washing or washing on a delicate cycle. Air dry and steam press. You may also opt to pop it in the dryer briefly on a low setting if you are looking for a softened finish.
